Our client is looking for a creative and organised Marketing Manager to join their team to collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns.

The role will report into the Head of Marketing and work across Brand, Ticketing, Membership, Partnerships & Match Day marketing.

This role will have a strong focus on brand building, corporate hospitality marketing as well as pushing their ticketing and retail marketing strategy to increase sales. The ideal candidate will have B2B & B2C marketing experience, have a project manager mindset with a passion for the sports industry.

The role also offers the opportunity to assist in the overall marketing operation to help deliver the Club’s marketing strategy across all channels, including working closely with the marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Head of Marketing in creating and executing the annual marketing strategy

Lead on the creation, development and execution of campaigns across core business areas including ticketing, retail, corporate sales, and partnership activationEnsure campaigns are delivered against the marketing plan, accurately and within deadlines

Ownership of the weekly marketing activity calendar

Ensure official website and other e-commerce platforms are up-to-date with correct marketing assets

Weekly marketing emails: brief email copy and design, create data list, proof email and despatch

Use CRM system to create marketing lists for targeted communications and update supporter details

Source design and production quotes for print and mailing requirementsTrack ROI and marketing budget

Proof marketing collateralAssist with club events and matchday activities

Education / Qualifications / Experience:

To be educated to degree level or have equivalent relevant experience (E)Experience of working within a Marketing or Media department (E), preferably in a management position.Experience in database marketing (E)

Strong proof reading and attention to detail (E)Must have the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment (E)
